The annual Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference came about for a sixteenth consecutive year under the new name Microsoft Inspire, refined to better reflect the event’s motif. It’s our 2nd time joining the monumental event and we are excited to share experience and impressions.
Bringing together a record number of over 17, 000 people from 140 countries, this year’s conference opened with inspirational speech by Melissa Arnot Reid – the first American woman who climbed Everest without the use of supplemental oxygen. She talked about the power of collaboration, comparing it to “a climbing rope that attaches partners and allows one person’s success to be felt by many.“ Ron Huddleston, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, also emphasized on the importance of a team that is “not only partner-led but partner-first” and introduced us to Microsoft’s new simplified partnering model. The stage was finally occupied by the CEO of Microsoft Corporation, Satya Nadella, who focused on channel partner opportunities and debuted Microsoft 365 and Azure Stack along with several product demonstrations and videos from Microsoft customers and partners.
The rest of the sessions included success stories on digital transformation, how the Microsoft community is performing in various verticals this year, insightful talks on the impact on the world and the responsibility when it comes to security. As usual, there were exhibitor area and connecting space where attendees could view and learn more about latest technologies, exchange ideas and meet each other.
Our Managing Partner, Dimitar Dimitrov, noted that “Being a Microsoft Partner means being a part of an eco-system, defined by commitment to clients’ success. Inspire made us think about our vision for the future of technology and we are coming home inspired for realizing new ideas and making improvements that could further help our clients achieve their goals.”
